Warming Turmeric Cacao Elixir
What better way to warm up than with a cup of hot cocoa?
Answer: Elevate your cuppa with a turmeric cacao elixir that will support your whole body, Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties, combined with the antioxidants in cacao will take your hot cocoa to a new level of goodness!
Pairing the turmeric with a plant milk like soy, almond or coconut milk will make the turmeric more bio-available by adding a healthy fat to this super spice.
SUPER SIMPLE Recipe Here:
1 -1 1/2 cups plant based milk
1 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp ground ceylon cinnamon
2 tsp cacao powder
optional 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
optional splash of maple syrup or agave to sweeten
pinch of black pepper
Warm the plant milk over low medium heat, whisk in the spices and cacao and heat. Add a splash of maple syrup or agave to sweeten. Pour into your cup and sprinkle a tiny bit of black pepper. ENJOY!
