Are you looking for a joyous, hands on way to learn about the world with your kids? Does Geography sound fun but daunting to you? Or do you love Geography and want supplemental learning for your kiddos that combines literacy, song, dance, food and art making?

Nourish and Nature Kids
Around the World in Saturday’s program is a hands on, engaging and fun way to learn Geography and world studies with your kiddo!
We will explore countries far and near through both present day connections and historical reference. Read-alouds and singalongs will capture your child’s imagination, and through dance, craft and taste we will be transported to our new land.
A full sensory experience will guide your child and ignite in them a love of learning about other lands, cultures, foods and people!
What to expect-Around the World program
Outdoor classes: various parks in Central Kitsap County
Parent/Caregiver present for session (ages 2-8)
Opening Circle Time with language connection and song
Read-Alouds and singalongs related to country of study
Guided craft or making experience (hands on artwork, handicraft and culinary)
Games and song from country of origin
Tasting/culinary round table related to country of study
Time to connect with your new friends
An expert early education teacher, (Masters of Art in Education), specializing in art and yoga with 18 years experience teaching children and curriculum writing
A holistic approach to learning and growth
Closing circle and parent/caretaker handout with resources to extend the learning/book lists/and recipes

Saturdays May 27th-July 29th AM sessions 10:00AM-11:30AM
Where: Various parks/forests in Central Kitsap County
INVESTMENT:
10 sessions for $215, sibling discount at $180. ($195/$165 if you pay in cash).
(Pro-rated if you join late)
‘It Takes a Village’ Program
$350 cash investment Covers your child’s tuition to Nourish + Nature Kids Around the World Program, and gift registration to a friend!
Nourish + Nature Scholarship Fund : Your donations will go towards families who need financial assistance. Any remaining donations at the end of the summer will be put towards growing the future of Nourish + Nature Kids Programs.
Consider donating to help an explorer attend: Any amount helps to fund the scholarship program- from $10, $20, $50, $175 (sponsoring a child), to $500 to help support the program material costs and scholarship program. Every generous donation helps to enrich the children and adult’s lives!

Is this a drop-off program?
No-Nourish + Nature Kids is a unique time to learn and grow alongside your child, an adult parent or trusted caregiver stays present and active during class
Can I bring my baby?
Absolutely, babies in wraps are always welcome!
How do I know where class is?
After you register, and each week I will send an email regarded where class will be located and any special considerations. I do not publicly post class locations for the safety of the children and adults involved.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the nature of the program, I do not offer refunds. If you are unsure if the class is the right fit for you, go ahead and grab a free trial class: they are an awesome option if you are unsure/debating.
