Investigation Workbook

In the studio we use workbooks/sketchbooks for note taking, brain maps, to visualize, to help share and communicate ideas, to explore materials, for self directed learning, to explore ideas, to articulate and externalize and sort thoughts, to make thoughts real, to help draw focus and to inspire confidence. 

Most sketchbook prompts are open ended, with a time limit requirement, sometimes artists are given prompts to explore and research an artist or art movement in their workbook.
