8th grade artists in Set Design class below are painting hieroglyphics and Ancient Egyptian imagery to set the stage for our school musical Aida.  The artists sat in on the table read and regularly visit rehearsal as they design and create the set for the production. Some paintings become collaborative efforts as we move closer to show time. Artists designed the moving columns for the set, the painting and imagery for the opening scene of the museum, and designed the costumes through careful sketching, sourcing and making.
